And nothing beats the feeling you get when you've practiced a difficult section over and over and finally get it right. (yes, even on the wood block.) Music is important. It says things your heart can't say any other way, and in a language everyone speaks. Music crosses borders, turns smiles into frowns, and vice versa. - The Hewitt-Trussville Middle School Band is made up of over 260 students in grades 6-8. We are located in Trussville, Alabama. The band is under the direction of Mr. Brandon Peters, Mrs. Stephanie Ezell, and Mr. Scott Waid.

I thought we sounded good, and I definitely had fun!
Yeah, we sounded good, but we have tempo problems from time to time.

We did a good job and we'll get better over time. Here's hoping that we don't any tempo problems at today's peprally.
I think we did ok for our first pep rally, but we could try and focus more next pep rally.

too bad we didn't win that game... but atleast the band sounded good! =)
