Charity Basketball Game

Thanks to the 7th and 8th graders who volunteered their time to perform at the Charity Basketball Game. This year's game raised over $5,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Students Perform for Alabama Teachers

Recently, seven HTMS percussionists were chosen to perform in a clinic at the 2010 Alabama Music Educators Association Conference at the University of Alabama. The students are instructed by Brad Palmer and Sean Womack of DoubleStop Percussion (www.doublestoppercussion.com). The students performed various exercises that they use in class to develop percussion technique. Over 250 band directors from all over Alabama were in attendance at the clinic to learn these techniques. Thanks for representing HTMS!
